Applications are invited on or before 26 th September 2011 for three posts of Scientist-B in the Pay Band -3 Rs. 15600-39100+ Rs. 5400 (Grade Pay).

(1) Scientist ‘B’ (Molecular Biology) ( UR)

Essential Qualification : (i) 1 st class Master’s Degree in Biochemistry/ Microbiology/Applied Biology / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Life Science from a recognized University or 2 nd class M. Sc. with Ph.D in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Desirable : i) Doctorate Degree in related Science subject from a recognized University. (ii) Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized Institute(s). (iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Job requirement : To participate and strengthen the ongoing research programmes in the area of reproductive health.

2. Scientist-B (Clinical Research) (Reserved for OBC/PH).
Essential Qualification : (i) MBBS Degree recognized by MCI.

Desirable : i) M.D. in OB/Gyn from a recognized University. (ii) Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s). (iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Job requirement : Participate and strengthen ongoing research activities in the area of clinical research, specially infertility, maternal & child health.

3. Scientist-B (Molecular Biology) ( UR)
Essential Qualification : (i) Ist class Master’s Degree in Life/Biological Science or relevant biological discipline from a recognized University or 2 nd class M. Sc. + Ph.D degree in relevant field from a recognized university.
Desirable : i) Doctorate Degree in Life/Biological Science from a recognized university. (ii) Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in medical/health subjects in recognized Institutes). (iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Job requirement : Participate and strengthen ongoing research programmes in the area of reproductive health.
